Evening and Weeknight appointments.

Did you know that as we are part of the North Watford Primary Care Network, you are now able to book evening appointments every Mon – Friday and every Saturday?

Sheepcot, Vine House and Abbotswood take it in turns to host these sessions so that all our patients have access to an appointment Mon – Fri from 8am -8pm and Sat 9am – 5pm.

• Monday to Friday Evening clinics run 6.30pm to 8.30pm – these appointments are always telephone appointments.
• Saturday clinics run 9.00am to 5.00pm and located at Sheepcot, Abbotswood, and Vine House surgeries.

If you would prefer to speak or see a GP face to face in these ‘out of hours’ sessions, please include it in your patient triage form and the receptionist will do their best to accommodate your needs.

Please note that during these out of hours clinics our receptionists are unable to deal with any queries such as, prescriptions, sick notes, results or letters etc. Phone lines are also closed, therefore should you need an urgent appointment or need to speak to a doctor please telephone 111 or go to A & E.

All appointments are pre-bookable.

Our collective surgeries are very aware there is a huge demand on GP appointments, and we hope these extra clinics will help to ease the pressure.

Clinics held at Sheepcot may involve GPs from other surgeries working here as well as our own, this being the case should you attend Vine house or Abbotswood. During these appointments all GPs will be able to access your medical notes in the usual way. Please be assured that your confidentiality will be maintained.
